Connecting Worlds

Delivering autism training courses and 'My story' educational and motivational sessions.

Real life, lived experience is integral to my training delivery. All courses are co-produced and reviewed with the invaluable input of my autistic husband and son.

The Government plans to introduce mandatory autism training for ALL health and social care staff. Connecting Worlds autism training is among a small group of training providers who meet the Governments Core Competency Framework. CCF. This framework describes what is required for supporting autistic people in a range of settings, from those who need a basic understanding of autism, to the skills, knowledge and
behaviours required of those who are experts and lead services for autistic people.

Each learner receives a Certificate of Completion. Following training, the client receives copies of completed pre and post programme questionnaires.

In addition to delivering training, Connecting Worlds autism training also provide a 1:1 consultancy service for those who require:

  • individual tailored support
  • behaviour/needs-based assessments
  • goal setting
  • transition support
  • environment assessments and improvement plans

MISSION STATEMENT: With greater understanding we can raise the prospects of autistic children, young people and adults; helping them to achieve the best outcomes and to live happier, more fulfilling lives.
