Hi, I am Deborah Bain, owner of Connecting Worlds autism training. I am also mum to a young man with autism, wife to an older (but still young!), man with autism and I am also an experienced Specialist Autism Trainer. I work part-time for a Local Authority as part of a specialist disabilities team. For over 20 years I have been privileged to have worked with hundreds of people with autism, their families, numerous settings and support teams. Most recently I delivered training packages into Camphill Village Trust at Botton. I have been fortunate to have worked with some amazing people and feedback has been extremely positive.

Through living and working in so many diverse environments and with so many individuals across the autism spectrum, I have gained a unique insight and empathy with those affected by the disorder.
I believe passionately that with greater understanding we can raise the prospects of children, young people and adults with autism; helping them to achieve the best outcomes and to live happier, more fulfilling lives.
